Our Math Checkup goes beyond right and wrong answers to identify what students understand, how they think, and where learning breaks down. These insights guide targeted virtual math support and intervention that address unfinished learning, clarify misconceptions, and strengthen mathematical understanding.

Resolve Math Studio starts by understanding what a student knows and where understanding begins to break down. From there, support is targeted to the skills and concepts that need attention—not simply more worksheets or more problems.
Through visual models, explicit instruction, mathematical reasoning, guided practice, and ongoing checks for understanding, students receive purposeful support designed to help the math make sense.

About the Math Specialist
Dr. Sonya D. Hopson is an experienced mathematics educator, curriculum writer, and instructional specialist with more than 13 years in education. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Management and has served as a middle-school mathematics teacher, instructional leader, and K–8 mathematics specialist.
Her work focuses on helping students make sense of mathematics by identifying where understanding breaks down and providing targeted, meaningful support. She created Resolve Math Studio and MATH, RESOLVED. to bring that same approach to students, families, and educators through diagnostic assessment, mathematics intervention, and thoughtfully designed learning resources.
